I chose these images to make up my final draft because they were my favorites and I felt that they were the best pictures from the bunch. I looked at the photos I thought were the most bold from each draft I had. I especially enjoyed the ones with deep contrasts and bright hues. I like the bikes to come alive.
Sacha! i love these photos! they look great, they all really go well with each other, i like how some are in color and some are not, the ones that are in color still go with the black and white ones.
ReplyDeleteI like how you developed your bike idea. Your first draft was more simple and captured ordinary bicycles, but with your later drafts you focused on a specific feel or a specific part of the bicycle. Like with the lone bike against the grey wall, exudes this lonely emotion. And the one where you focused on the wheel was really interesting because of all the different lines crisscrossing. I also see you got the reflection and the medal reflected another mirror photo in the back.
ReplyDeleteI really like your theme of bikes of all kinds! I like all of these photos, but the best ones in my opinion are the first and last photos. In the first and last photos the many spokes and frames of the bikes intertwining make the photo much more complicated and interesting to look at. Good work!
ReplyDeleteThese are all very strong photographs. It would be really cool if you made a separate series that all looked like the second one up from the bottom. You used an interesting effect that worked well. The bike and motorcycle photos are all great too, you created diversity within your series to make each one different. good job!
ReplyDeleteYour final draft is much better than previous drafts, because you focused on the specific parts of bikes and came up with specific feels and color. It also came up with really good compositions and angle!!! Nice photos!!
