This assignment was for taking shots from different angles and distances. I think that when you take the same image and look at it from a different perspective, there is a really interesting outcome. It's interesting to look at something and then magnify it or tilt it so that the image is slightly different. This assignment was a great reminder that you should always keep an open mind and look at things differently. My favorite treasure here is the photo of the rose with the gum next to it, and i also like the creepy dark door with the heart.
I really like your picture of the gum and the rose. It follows the assignment and the zoom on the rose is amazing! The contrast of the gross gum on the ground (or trash) vs the pretty rose is a great idea and brings about the idea that for every pretty rose there is a gross piece of gum.
ReplyDeleteI think it would also be incredible if you edited this photo so that it's in color and the rose is really dark red or pink and the gum is a fainter color while the background is even fainter.
I really like the way you edited picture number 8, the highlights really stand out. The three pictures of the door really represent the idea of 3x3, you can tell the photographer used zoom, different angles and distances. II think it would have also looked cool if you made the gum stand out more in the first picture with the rose, making it less subtle.

ReplyDeleteI love how you edited all of these pictures. You have a great variety and did a good job capturing and mixing different elements in these pictures. I like the angles you used for the heart on the door, close up and then mixing the stairs in.
ReplyDeleteI liked the fence in the pictures. It was cool how you zoomed in and made it different colors. I also really like the door and how the heart was kind of blurry.
