Cityscapes
This assignment was to go around looking for interesting shapes, buildings, and contrasting textures out on the street. It was a very cool assignment because you open your eyes and see things that you pass everyday and notice the significance in every shape. Cityscapes are just like landscapes except they are man-made landscapes that carry with it a different kind of beauty. I liked this assignment because it forced me to notice interestingly beautiful images that I never really took the time to notice on my free time wandering the city.

Sacha, these pictures are the bomb! I love the Fat Angel and the dark rectangle behind it. You are the "Queen of Contrast". My other favorite picture is the one of the tree with the hedge in front. The tree looks amazing and the way you captured it is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGood Job!
I like the different colors and rotations you played with here. Each one is able to stand out differently. The fifth one from the bottom stands out the most to me. I also really like the key lock ones.
ReplyDeleteI really like every one of your pictures especially because they are not as obvious when it comes to spotting the different shapes. They all really stand out and are completely different from one another. The angel sculpture is like no other combination of shapes I've seen. My one suggestion is that all the pictures would have been the same size to make the photos flow together better.
ReplyDeleteI like how there are allot of photos zoomed in really close, it gets you to see more shapes and gets you to really look hard at the photo. I also like how you used lots of different color schemes in you photos, it makes the whole group of photos more lively.
